PAGPay handles collection, disbursement and settlement across cards, mobile money and bank rails. This role runs the operation behind that — reconciliation, disputes, scheme and regulatory reporting — to the standard a licensed operation is held to.
What you will own
- Run daily settlement and reconciliation across every rail, and close the exceptions rather than carrying them forward.
- Own chargeback and dispute handling within scheme and regulator timelines.
- Prepare scheme and regulatory reporting, and stand behind it in an audit.
- Work with engineering to turn recurring manual corrections into product fixes.
- Maintain the operational controls — segregation of duties, maker-checker — and the evidence that both were applied.
What you bring
- You have run payment operations in a licensed or otherwise regulated environment.
- You know card scheme rules and mobile money settlement in practice, not in summary.
- You are precise with reconciliation, and comfortable saying out loud that a number does not tie.
- You can write a control procedure that an auditor accepts and an operator can actually follow.
- You work in English. Swahili is an advantage in this location.
