Payments Operations Manager

PAGPay handles collection, disbursement and settlement across cards, mobile money and bank rails. This role runs the operation behind that — reconciliation, disputes, scheme and regulatory reporting — to the standard a licensed operation is held to.

Run daily settlement and reconciliation across every rail, and close the exceptions rather than carrying them forward.
Own chargeback and dispute handling within scheme and regulator timelines.
Prepare scheme and regulatory reporting, and stand behind it in an audit.
Work with engineering to turn recurring manual corrections into product fixes.
Maintain the operational controls — segregation of duties, maker-checker — and the evidence that both were applied.

You have run payment operations in a licensed or otherwise regulated environment.
You know card scheme rules and mobile money settlement in practice, not in summary.
You are precise with reconciliation, and comfortable saying out loud that a number does not tie.
You can write a control procedure that an auditor accepts and an operator can actually follow.
You work in English. Swahili is an advantage in this location.
